Chase's plan for the Allum Creek site

Kenyon quickly outgrew Chase’s farm. Further, Worthington was becoming too "urban" for Chase’s liking. He thus decided to move his college and seminary to a more spacious, and secluded, location.  Initially, Chase chose a site along Alum Creek, not far north of Worthington. However, that plan fell through. Chase then looked to Knox County, to the northeast
