The Family Farm Animal Kingdom

When you drive through the country in Ohio, one of most common sites you see are barns. You notice that barns are different in the way they look-- some are red, some are white, some are new, and some are old. However, what lives within the barns also differs between farms. Some farms raise several different kinds of animals and others may be specialized, they may raise only one particular animal. If you decide you want to have livestock on your farm, you will discover many choices. These choices will make your farm unique, much like the decision about what kind of crops you will grow and how you will grow them.

List some of the different reasons you may decide to have animals on your farm.

Let's enter the barn door to see some of the possible animals you may raise!
