The Future of Family Farming

Farming is all around you. The food you ate for lunch was grown on a farm. Some of the clothes
you are wearing came from a farm animal. The land your school is built on was once probably
farm land. In the past most people farmed for a living. Today, in the state of Ohio and in Knox
County most people are still involved in agriculture. In Knox County, family farming is one
common type of farming. In the future, land development, environmental conservation, education, and
technology will influence the way people farm.
