How does family farming relate to the environment? This page will examine the connections between family farming and the environment in Knox County. We'll look at different styles of farming, crop and grazing rotations, chemical use, water quality, manure, and legislation to see: (1) what types of environmental issues farmers are faced with today and (2) the ways in which they deal with them.
