Milk: Coming to a Recipe Near You

    What comes to mind when you think of milk? Most of you probably don't realize that milk is in a lot of the foods you drink and eat. Here are some recipes you can try at home that include milk as an ingredient. Who knows? Perhaps you, too, may invent your own recipe.


Orange Royale

1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate,
partially thawed
3 large scoops vanilla ice cream
3 cold cups milk

  • Spoon or pour orange juice concetrate into
    blender container.

  • Put scoops of ice cream in blender.

  • Pour milk over ice cream.

  • Cover and blend until smooth.

  • Pour into glasses, and serve immediately.
Makes about 5 1/2 cups





Ripper

1 cup milk
1 medium-size ripe banana, peeled and sliced
1/3 cup white chocolate chips
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Chocolate syrup
Whipped cream
Chocolate sprinkles

  • In a blender, place milk, banana and white chocolate chips,
    cover, and blend until combined.

  • Add ice cream, blend until smooth.

  • Make chocolate stripes on the inside of two tall glasses by

  • squirting or spooning chocolate syrup around the inside tops
    of each glass, evenly spacing them. The syrup will run
    down sides of the glasses forming stripes.
  • Pour into glasses.
Makes 2 servings
