Version 5.0 of AppleWorks and ClarisWorks have been tested as Y2K compliant. Earlier versions are probably compliant, because they rely on the Mac's system clock to keep track of dates, but Apple hasn't tested earlier versions. If you use these programs for basic wordprocessing, it doesn't really matter if the application is Y2K compliant. However, if you use the spreadsheet function, you should update to the latest version of AppleWorks to ensure it is Y2K compliant.
