What have we been up to this year?
•Convinced the bookstore to sell recycled school supplies
•Convinced ARA to only give disposable dishes at the dessert bar when asked. (This is still pending—they have yet to receive the order of additional dishes.)
•Alerted maintenance to missing recycling bins
•Used signs and Newscope to increase awareness of important environmental choices students face
•Have been and continue to research different brands of recycled paper to make sure that the one we recommend will work well with the machines on campus and be the least costly--economically as well as environmentally
•Composting pre-consumer waste from Gund and Peirce as a prelude to composting on a larger scale in the future
