1. Read the two E-Res assignments: Bauman, Let your Words Be Few, 20-42; and "Joyful Speaking for God", 239-287, in Mary Fulkerson, Changing the Subject.

2. Write a two-page reaction paper discussing the ways speech and silence shape these two groups' understanding of revelation as an ongoing process.

3. Add one or two words you would like to see added to the glossary to the bottom of your paper.
