Assignment 7

1. Read the 3 online assignments: "Resuscitating Passion" (Power Web), Martin Luther's "3 Walls of the Romanists" and Iraenaeus of Lyons "On the Apostolic Tradition" (online links). Each piece contains different and sometimes conflicting viewpoints on sacrality and authority in the Christian tradition.

2. With your partner, discuss the following: What views of authority and salvation are expressed? How does each group view the sacred? What's the connection between the sacred and leadership?

3. Write up the results of your discussion in a 1-2 page typed paper.
