Assignment 5: Upanishads, pages 67-82

The Bhagavad Gita, drawing upon the Upanishads (67-82), declares that there are two paths, the path of the sun and the path of the moon: "By one, a man escapes rebirth; by the other, he is born again." Discuss with your partner some of the qualities associated with each path as described in the Upanishads, pages 67-82: religious symbols of Hinduism, aspects of human behavior, and/or moral actions. In what ways is one path better than the other? In what ways is each meritorious?
