Course Description: Physical and natural phenomena depend on a complex array of factors, and to analyze these factors requires the understanding of geometry in two and three (or more) dimensions. This course will continue the study of multivariable calculus begun in MATH 213. Topics of study will include curves in space, vector fields, line and surface integrals, potential functions, and classical vector analysis, including Green's theorem, the divergence theorem, and Stokes' theorem. Computer labs will be incorporated throughout the course, and physical applications will be plentiful. Prerequisite: MATH 213.
