Discussion about final projects
- Twelve to fifteen page technical paper on a computational method (randomization tests, resampling, bootstrapping, jackknifing, etc.) that can be compared and contrasted with the methods we have studied throughout this semester. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of Chihara and Hesterberg for this project. They have lots of great material that we were not able to incorporate during the semester. Pick a topic of interest to you and explain the new method to your peers in the class. I really want you to apply the methods to settings of interest to you in this final project.
- Do you want to have oral presentations or just submit the final papers on the Google Drive so that everyone can read them when they have time?
That's all folks! Have fun with your final projects and please let me know how I can help as you proceed with your drafts.
