  • Write down a sequence of 20 at bats for a player who is hitting .500
  • Use the web applets to compare the length of the longest streak and the number of streaks for a "random sequence" with your sequence. (You can also use rflip in R to do your own exploration. Note that you must have the mosaic package loaded for rflip to work. See the handout R Sampler for Intro Stats for some examples.)
  • Did you do a good job modeling random behavior?
