What is Statistics?

• Statistics is the science of collecting, organizing, and interpreting numerical information.

Getting Started with Statistical Software

• I suggest creating a subdirectory on your H:\drive for Math 116.
• Reaction time experiment (record your reaction time, the gender of the "catcher," and the class of the "catcher")
