About quizzes


There will usually be a short quiz on Thursdays. Each quiz will consist of two or three unassigned problems from the text from the sections presented in the previous week. For example, a quiz on Thursday, September 6 would consist of problems from the sections presented on Tuesday, August 28 and Thursday, August 30. Unless otherwise specified, you will not be allowed to use any notes or books on the quizzes. The quizzes will comprise 10% of your final grade in this course, and your lowest quiz grade will be dropped. Solutions to all quizzes will be posted here.
