As one of the requirements for this course you need to read and critique
two of the articles from the list below or any other articles or book chapters
you find interesting such as the readings suggested by Ms. Karen Greever :http://lbis.kenyon.edu/subj/lang/mll331/ . Your critique should include the evaluation of the
reliability of the article you selected, and it should consist of 1) a
good summary that describes the research questions, the methodology employed
and the findings of the research, 2) your reflections and critique of the
article and, 3) how the information you obtained is relevant to your own
research and/or interest. In other words what have you learned from the
review of literature? Is it informative in terms of understanding of the
issue under question or/and in terms of designing your own research methodology?
Does the review of literature help you identify a direction in which your
research can advance the understanding of the issue under exploration?
