Chuckball!
Also referred to as Mutiny
or Execution Style, Chuckball
can be a great way
for you to vent your frustration,
especially at Chuck.
All standard
Gameplay rules apply, but the set-up differs
in that the match
features one man against six.
Unlike a
Handicap Match, meant for training and/or braggarts, the
lone man (the Chuck,
in this case) starts with the only
ball on the
court. This hinders strategy and
team work,
thus balancing the
playing field.
The match begins
when the moderator calls “Chuck!” (Note:
The intonation most
resembles a child being reprimanded.)
At that point, Chuck
tries to take down as many of his
opponents as
possible. This will be like
shooting fish in
a barrel,
right? But these fish can shoot
back.
Naturally, the
object of the game is to bring Chuck down—
he still owes you a
dollar anyway from that other time.
Conversely, if you
are Chuck, not only should you be
ashamed of yourself
for not keeping promises and insisting
that we play Jock
Jams, but you should aim to outlive your
six opponents.
Proponents of this
game tend to advocate its being played
at night or in low
light, but such is not required. And
others substitute their
Chuck with a Boivin.
