This is a distinct and beautiful image within the collection. The successive layering of color inherent to the print process enhances the color density of a view like this dark interior. In order to achieve such a clear image, lighter colors are laid down first and then shadows are applied. Notice the high definition of the texture in objects, such as the fur rug in the left-hand foreground.
