Russian Resources at Kenyon


Books and Periodicals
On the third floor of the Olin and Chalmers library you will find a collection of Russian and Soviet literature. You may also order books from other colleges and university through CONSORT, OhioLink, and Interlibrary Loan. Kenyon subscribes to several Russia-related and Russian-language periodicals, and the college bookstore carries several books about Russia as well as dictionaries and reference materials.

Russian Language Films

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures has several Russian-language films with and without subtitles. To see a list of selections available, click here.

To search the CONSORT library catalog for Russian language forms, go to the CONSORT page. Click on Subject, entering "Russia" in the Search field. This will find ALL materials related to Russia, regardless of medium and/or language. To narrow your search to Russian language videos, click the "Limit/Sort Results" button at the top of the page; select "Russian" from the "Language" field and "PROJ MEDIUM" from the "Material Type" field. Then click on the button entitled "Limit/sort items retrieved using above data." Your computer will display a list of all Russian-language films at Kenyon College, Denison University, Ohio Wesleyan University and the College of Wooster.
