Panel session on gender gap in sports (approximately 80 minutes)

• Moderators are Jules and Jack
• Volunteers for panelists (approximately 4 students to present data and analysis with R code)

Discussion of wage, performance or rating differences for athletes or coaches

• Each student volunteer will describe why they picked the article, summarize the major results, and discuss the application of the Elo system to current data or a comparison with another rating system. Again, we want to step through your R code.

Discussion of time series (see Chapter 12 and SeaIce.Rmd)

Assignment for next week

• Read Chapter 12 in the Time Series folder (optional: complete the exercises of interest to you)
• Peer Review of Position Paper #3 (Count up 3 on the course roster)
• Post article on performance over time
• Post Position Paper #4
• Volunteers to be moderators for seminar next week
