Big Ten versus SEC

1. Using the data from the past 10 years of BCS bowl play, find how much significantly better the SEC has been compared to the other conferences using a 2 proportion Z-test at 95% confidence, testing p(1)-p(2) with p(1) being the SEC and p(2) being the other respective conferences. Finally, using this test would you say the SEC has been truly dominant? Why or why not?
2. Using the information given in the minitab project, create your own quantitative index scoring system in order to rank the conferences based on BCS bowl play over the past ten years. Include your formula and results.
