Name: Gilgamesh
Born: c. 2700 BCE in Uruk
Died: c. 2620 BCE in Uruk
Notable Accomplishments: Killed evil forrest demon Humbaba.  Ruler of small empire.  Discovered the secret to the fountain of youth after meeting with Utnapishtim.
The basics: Born of godess and man to be king of Uruk, Gilgamesh was the biggest, baddest man in town.  With the coming of his life-long friend Enkidu, he set out on several great adventures.  His quest was to eventually find the key to immortality.  However, he was unsuccessful in this endeavor, and eventually died.
