Scholarships to Rikkyo University in Japan

We now have information in the office for two scholarships to Rikkyo University in Japan for our graduating seniors. The first is the Rikkyo University International Exchange Student Scholarship (RUI) for our students to study at Rikkyo for one year beginning either in April 1999 or in September 1999. Although Rikkyo's year begins in April, students doing graduate work can begin in September without too much difficulty. We are allowed to recommend only one student for this scholarship and our recommendation has to reach Rikkyo by November 28th, 1998 (even if the student is not planning to begin until September 1999). However, there is no limit on applications from students to Rikkyo who are not seeking scholarship.

The second scholarship is the Heiwa Nakajima Scholarship for students applying for September 1999 admission to Rikkyo. Again, application is limited to one per institution, and is due November 14th, 1998. Students applying for this scholarship must not be receiving any other scholarships concurrently.
